We are The Millers Grinding & Tinning Company Limited - “THE SPECIALIST” in Commercial Catering Equipment. The Company was established in April 1952 by Henry G. Martin and George C. Doe. After George left in 1957, Bill Winslade – late father of current Managing Director Adrian Winslade - joined Henry in February 1958 as joint Managing Director. In those early days they specialized in grinding and tinning services for practicing millers, but added knife sharpening and repair services later.

The Company gradually expanded its product and service portfolio and is now proud to be classed as one of London’s leading Distributors. We moved into our current modern premises in December 2000 and are able to offer everything required by today’s Caterer from Utensils, Cookware, Tableware and Glassware to Heavy Equipment, Refrigeration, Extraction and Furniture. We can also Design & Plan your new Kitchen.

The equipment shown on this website is just a small selection of the things that we can supply. Please give us a call to let us know your individual requirements and we will, in the majority of cases, be able to source it for you at very competitive prices.

We have our own team of fully qualified Service Engineers who can undertake remedial repairs and Contract Servicing. We specialize in individually tailored maintenance contracts and now offer a full Duct Cleaning service. Just send us a list of your equipment and we will send you a quotation.

Finally, you may ask, why do we retain the “Grinding & Tinning” in our formal title? Mainly it is in memory of Adrian’s father but also to preserve the Company’s unique origins, thus keeping its history alive.
